Aran Islands Christmas Draw 2011.

Entries for this years draw are now closed and we are sorting out the valid entries from the hundreds of entries received from all over the world. Thanks to all those that entered.

One lucky winner will enjoy a great trip for 2 to Inis Mór to be used between now and April 30th.

Flights by Aer Arann Islands. Staying at The Clai Bán B&B. Also included is dinner in Joe Watty’s, an Island tour, entry to Dun Aonghasa, a voucher from the Aran Sweater Market and Man of Aran Cologne & Ilaun perfume.

4 Runner up winners will enjoy Cologne and Perfume from the Burren Perfumery.

Trad for Trócaire. Aran Islands.

Trad For Trócaire on Inis Mór.

Following on the the huge success of the Trad for Trócaire event last year Watty’s are off again on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon..

The famous Joe Watty’s bar in Kilronan raised more money than any other venue in Connaught last year and are hoping to do even better this year.

The fun is at Joe Watty’s in Kilronan on Sat Sept 24th and also a special event on Sun 25th during the day for families and younger participants.

Well done to P.J., Grace, and the team at Watty’s for their support for this great cause and we hope that the event will be well supported.

Aran Islands Limerick competition. Winner announced.

Many Thanks to Joe Watty’s for sponsoring the Limerick Competition.

Watty’s were so impressed with the quality of some of the entries that they have announced that there will be a runner up prize and some special category prizes. These extra prizes will be announced in the coming days.

The main prize was for 2:

  • Transport to and from Inis Mór by ferry from Doolin or Rossaveal or by Air with Aer Arann Islands from Inverin. (Ferry and Flight info).
  • 1 Night Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a Failte Ireland approved B&B.
  • Inis Mór tour by Bus, Pony and Trap or Bicycle Hire.
  • Dinner in the famous Joe Watty’s
  • Prize to be used by September 30th 2011.
  • Prize can be transferred if you won’t be in Ireland.
