Great to see Green Dragon and Ericcson 4 battling at the front of the fleet. The lead has changed between the 2 a number of time in the last 24 hours. This is turning out to be of the most exciting legs in the Volvo Ocean race so far. Delta Lloyd is back in 6th place but only about 10 miles behind the leaders.

The 7 boats in the Volvo Ocean race are making ready for the off in Galway. A hugely successful stopover in galway saw up to 400,000 people young and old, local and foreign pass through the race village in Galway harbour. Full marks to the team that brought this wonderful event to Ireland.

Lets hope we can stage another stopover in the future. All agree that this was the best thing to happen in Ireland this year and it was great to have Green Dragon finish the leg to Galway from Boston on the podium, with Limerick owned boat Delta lloyd in 5th.

Well Done to the Green Dragon in the Volvo ocean Race. 3rd place finish for the Green Dragon and 5th place for Limerick owned Delta Lloyd. Home crowd in Galway delighted.

The Volvo Ocean race to Galway is speeding up. The boats are now really moving downwind.

Delta Lloys is in a strong position in 3rd and Green dragon is not far behind in 5th.
