Drought conditions on the Aran Islands have resulted in severe water shortages.
Inis Mór has only about a week’s water supply left after its three wells have almost dried up.
Inis Oirr has between 2 to 3 weeks water supply left as its two wells are not as badly affected.
The unusually dry Spring and lack of rainfall is being blamed.
Water is being turned off from 8pm to 8am Daily.
