Rumours that the Volvo Ocean Race Irish stopover is to be relocated from Galway to Cork have been denied by John Killeen chairman of lets do it Galway. Up to 350,000 can be expected to attend. It’s a sad reflection on the Irish media that they give so little coverage to this successful bid to have the race stop here. Maybe they’re all waiting for bad news. Come on Irish media, get behind lets do it Galway and their bravery in moving forward and probably doing more for Irish and Galway tourism than anyone else. On the same subject lets all get behind the 2 irish interest entries in this super race. Green Dragon and Delta Lloyd are doing us proud and putting Ireland on the world sailing stage. More support is needed from armchair sailors all over the country.
Dolly is missing again. It would seem the Michael got a lazy about security after a weekend on the porter. Anyway our last appeal was successful so please will the joker bring the poor sheep back safe and undamaged.
