Saturday, January 24th, 2009Both Irish interest boats have suspended racing for repairs. Both Green dragon and Delta Lloyd are ashore in the Philipines for pit stops.

Galway Bay Sailing Club
Saturday, January 24th, 2009Nice to see the Galway Bay Sailing Club entry in the Volvo Virtual Race is sailing along nicely. The othe aran boats are back about half way in the fleet. Full update tomorrow.

Monday, January 19th, 2009Nice to see that Teampall Einne an Aran Island entry in the Virtual race is lying in 43961st position out of 127000 boats. Galway Bay Sailing Club is somewhat further up the leader list in 14091st place. Our entry which is taking a gamble on a different heading is languishing back in 120,000th. The next few days will see if our gamble pays off.
